| This is another example of a very highly modified car. This car started off as a standard 2 litre 8 valve Calibra but before long bob was hankering for some more power (sound familiar?) and through the local car spares magazine a log mileage second-hand 2.5 litre second hand v6 cavalier engine and gearbox was sourced, the problem was the engine had no wiring, after discussions with Lumenition they supplied us with a custom wiring loom and a blank ECU which bob fitted himself and then bought back to us for a complete fuel injection remap. |  |

We set the car up with a basic map to get it running and then took a trip to the local rolling road to fine tune the mapping. After spending a few hours tweaking the ECU we ended up with a peak power output of 166 BHP at the road wheels. Bob then needed the looks to match his newfound power so we supplied him with a specially imported Reiger front and rear spoiler kit and some 17" TSW alloy wheels along with a PI handling kit. |
